Hua Hin - Golf

Hua Hin is the paradise that is just waiting to be discovered by the international golfing fraternity. The first golf course in Thailand was opened here in 1924. Today, there are five international-standard golf courses in the vicinity of Hua Hin. They are well maintained and the green fees are just between 600 to 800 Baht on weekdays. Expect to pay about the same amount for cart and caddy.

Royal Hua Hin Golf Course

The first golf course of Thailand, opened in 1924, the 18-hole Royal Hua Hin Golf Course still provides a challenge for all golfers.

Built on undulating woodland across the track from the railway station, the course offers a fairway studded with clumps of century-old trees. Located at the foot of a hill, It takes players uphill and downhill with tees that provide tantalizing glimpses of clear blue sea. It is only 5 minutes away from the sea. A notable novelty are the fairway trees carved in animal shapes.

The course can be reached in less than 5 minutes from the beach. It's mature natural surroundings and beautiful location on the foot of a hill make this course a must for every visiting player.

Springfield Royal Country Club

Designed by Jack Nicklaus,the Springfield Royal Country Club has one of the finest golf resorts in Thailand. It has excellent facilities and is well maintened. A resident PGA Pro provides professional advice.

Palm Hills Golf Resort and Country Club

Palm Hills Golf Resort and Country Club is about 10 km north of Hua Hin.It opened to the public in 1991 with a beautiful clubhouse which separates two distinct nine hole sections.

The course has plenty of water hazards but it is generally not difficult to play and suitable for beginners. The country club also offers several sports and fitness facilities.
