The terminal complex comprises of 7 stories above ground and 2 stories below ground.
is the bus lobby. Buses are not allowed to go to 2nd and 3rd floors in order to avoid traffic congestion. Additionally, there are also a medical center, AOT offices for electricity monitoring and airport control offices.
is the arrivals hall for both domestic and international passengers.
consists of airlines passenger waiting lounges, some shops, security checkpoints, meeting points, shops, service counters and CIP lounges.
is the departure hall for both international and domestic passengers. It also has lounges for Thai Airways premium passengers, immigration control checkpoints, airline booths and airport information counters.
5th floor is the offices for Thai Airways and Star Alliance airlines.
7th floor serves as observation area.
The two floors below ground, floor 0 and -1 are earmarked for the train station and platforms.
Departing passengers coming by cars, taxis and tour agency buses can be dropped off at the 4th floor of the passenger terminal. There are pick-up points at 1st floor of the terminal for arriving passengers.
The terminal building, the public transportation center and the long term parking areas are connected by shuttle bus services available to passengers and personel.

Concourses
Concourse D runs along the length of the terminal building. Concourses A, B, C, E, F, and G branch out from the terminal building and entail a longer walk to the gates.
Concourses A and B are for domestic passengers whereas concourses C,D,E,F and G are for international passengers.
